Exercise Lean's History

In 2008, we began working at two North American facilities in the Eastern US, implementing multiple cellular manufacturing work cells at one location and participating Kaizen workshop with ARES technologies in the Gas Turbine aftermarket industry. Assisting them with challenges arising from start up and growth opportunities, we helped to maximize their floor space and balance the work content for their core product processes.


In 2009, Exercise Lean supported Trust Technologies, Inc. in Greenville South Carolina as a lean business coach teaching the lean transformation process. Our consultants conducted Value Stream mapping projects using the A3 format for team report outs and implemented standard work for all part references with 40% deployment, Scrap and reworking training / tracking daily, 8D training for Problem Solving, and Setup Reduction with SMED visual tracking boards.


In 2010, Exercise Lean will be adding 20 new consultants with more than 20 years of experience each. Let us put our boots to the ground for you!
